Deepesh’s birthday without a bash
KATHMANDU: On March 23 Deepesh Kishor Bhattarai celebrated his birthday with friends. No one from the music field attended his party but he tells that almost everyone wished him. “I was not well, so the treat is due to everyone I know.” He wants to keep his age a secret. “I believe in keeping some things secret. There is no harm in telling my age but I just want it to be a secret.” Looking back he shares that one of his best memories so far has been the realisation that ‘Forever’, his fourth album, has been a big success. “I believe in hard work. Singing is my profession so I will make sure that I concentrate on my work and try harder.”
On amour, too, he is secretive, unwilling to name his girlfriend. “Our relation is in full swing!” It has already been three years that they have known each other. “I am serious about our relation but marriage is still a long way to go.” Nowadays he is preparing to complete his fifth album, which will be released after three months. He is not sure what he will name it though. The album has 10 numbers.
Jems Pradhan, Nhyoo Bajrachaya and Sanjeep Pradhan also have penned one song each and the rest are by Deepesh. In mid-May he has a concert together with Jems Pradhan and Sabin Rai in Dharan, Biratnagar and in Kathmandu. — Himalayan News Service
