Action star Jet Li says it’s difficult playing a violent villain in his new movie Rogue, after recently portraying someone who preached nonviolence in another film, a movie news Web site reported on April 23. Li said his movies “continue to talk about my personal belief that violence is not the only solution,” the movie news Web site Comingsoon.net reported. “When I suddenly go back to this very violent character, I’m struggling. So you need to be very clear you’re just an actor. Even though I don’t agree with what this guy is doing, I need to do it best,” Li was quoted as saying.

Li just released Fearless.
