Dissatisfaction
Having a good sleep at night is what everybody hankers for. A sound sleep energises our body and provides us refreshment. But is it possible for us to have a good sleep every night? I don’t think so. To enjoy a sound sleep you must be content and internally satisfied. You might be satisfied sometimes but not at all time. It is human nature. With whatever we have we aspire for more. This peculiar nature keeps us unsatisfied. Satisfaction is a major hindrance to progress whereas discontent is a stepping-stone towards progress. You might wonder over this and claim that it is erroneous but as a matter of fact it is true.
We are proud to be in the 21st century, a century with all our comforts. The reason behind all this progress is undoubtedly the human nature of dissatisfaction. For instance, in the 19th century if our progenitors ceased developmental activities thinking that they are overjoyed and satisfied with the their progress then our earth would not have such a face, I mean our earth would not look like what it is at present. This crave for more in human beings is a boon to mankind.
The student ranking second position in his class has a yen for first position, as he is unsatisfied with his current status. Even the top student desires to further enhance his performance. He will never want to be in the same situation even if he is the first boy of his class. So it can be easily concluded that no man is fully at ease. Everyone is ravenous for more. The richest seek to be richer, the strongest want to be stro-nger and the sleepy want to get even more good sleep.
