KATHMANDU: The week-long national Tuborg Dohori Pratiyogita 2066 is set to start from March 20 at Fun Park, Bhrikutimandap. All together three dozen groups participating in the competition will use their witty words to out-sing each other.

Apart from the participants various well known dohori artistes will be entertaining all with some well known dohori songs and improvisation. Popular artistes like Sharmila Gurung, Milan Lama, Navaraj Ghorashaini, Indira Gurung, Nabin Poudel, Radhika Hamal, Badri Pangaeni, Devi Dharti, Tulsi Parajuli, Bimal Raj Chettri, Nisha Sunar, Dhamesh Dulal among others will be performing not only during the opening of the event but all week long to provide more entertainment.

The winner of the

competition will walk away with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, and first and second runners-up will get Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively.

The event is presented by Gorkha Brewery and organised by Lok Sangit Uthhan Sangh Nepal.
