Dunaway slams Hollywood’s
NEW YORK:
Acting legend Faye Dunaway, who starred in movies like Network and Chinatown, has slammed Hollywood movie bosses for not wanting to cast older female stars as romantic leads.
The 66-year-old actress says Hollywood has double standards between older actors and actresses, reports imdb.com. She pointed out that older stars like Jack Nicholson get to romance much younger woman in movies. She said, “I am furious that they think I’m too
old to play the love interest of guys like Jack Nicholson and Clint Eastwood. Why should I play sisters and mothers, while guys like Jack and Clint, who are older than me, have on-screen lovers half their age?”
