York’s Radio City Music Hall. The all-student orchestra, along with a choir, is scheduled to perform with John during his concerts at the renowned hall July 13-18. The entertainer will donate proceeds to the Elton John Musical Scholarship at his alma mater and to fund a scholarship programme at the Juilliard School. “As a scholarship student at the Royal Academy of Music , the solid classical training was the key to my amazing career,” he said. — AP
