Eva Longoria has said she is piling on the pounds to prepare for her role in next season’s Desperate Housewives. The Sentinel star was seen in a flash forward in last season’s finale looking much larger than her usual svelte figure, with two children around her. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight about her preparation for the role, she said, “I ate everything in sight — Pasta pappardelle and pizza. Oh, Tony and I went crazy this summer.” Longoria, who plays the fashionable high-maintenance Gabrielle on the popular show, also said she would be sporting butt, thigh and stomach pads to pull off the look of a mother with two children. The actress, who married basketball start Tony Parker last year, also revealed that her spouse was helping her maintain her famous good looks. — Agencies
