KATHMANDU: The love-hate relationship between Kaji and Maiya in Kabaddi was able to attract the audience into the theatres in 2014.
This romantic comedy was able to make people laugh, the credit to the acting, storyline, and cinematography. Picking up the story from Mustang the movie was able to win hearts of the audiences. And now get ready to be more entertained — a sequel Kabaddi Kabaddi is here.
A trailer of the movie was launched amidst a programme organised at Mandala Theatre, Anamnagar on September 21. Based on the triangle love story, the sequel this time includes political issues and elections.
“It is the story of the same characters in the same place but in a different time,” informed Ram Babu Gurung, the director of the film.
Directed by Gurung the movie features Dayahang Rai, Rishma Gurung, Saugat Malla, Buddhi Tamang, Pashupati Rai, Kabita Ale, Aruna Karki, Sishir Bangdel among others.
Upendra Subba and Gurung are the script writers of the movie while music for the movie is given by Kali Prasad Baskota. Meanwhile, Shailendra D Karki is the cinematographer.
Sharing his experiences while shooting the movie Karki shared, “There are some real scenes in the movie. Rai slipped off while shooting one of the fight scenes and we captured his real limping scene in Mustang.” The move is set to release in November 27.
