Kathmandu: Every day can be a festive day only if one knows how to turn it into one. And this seems to have been the spirit that spurred Friday night’s dance party at the Gazabko Café, Marco Polo Hotel. Though, the dance party was supposed to begin at 4 pm, the party really took on life only after sundown. With every passing hour, the grooviest youngsters in town started flocking in.

Though, the party was without a DJ, the latest of Bollywood numbers booming on the speakers kept the crowd going on. The couples that were toe-tapping patiently in the early hours were all set to rock the dance floor as the night matured gradually.

“Good Friday Dance Party” was organised by Lakschya.com. Before the party began certificates were distributed to the participants of “Dance party with fashion show and live performance” which was held on 17 June 2005 at the Blue Star Hotel. Dinesh KC, managing director of Lakschya.com said, “the party was a grand success.” — HNS
