Farhan prefers writing in hotel
MUMBAI: There are certain ways which writers follow to jazz up their creative juices. Here is a writer who seeks haven within the hotel room for penning his stories.
Farhan Akhtar prefers to work on his scripts from a posh hotel, rather than from his home or office. “Though it’s true that I have a spacious bungalow in Bandra every time I need to write for my films I need my own space,” quipped Farhan. He revealed that he has been booking into a hotel that is a few metres from his home, to write his dialogues, ever since his second film Lakshya. “I go in the morning, write my stuff and come home in the evening.” It helps him to focus on the task at hand and finishes work a lot faster than he can do otherwise at home or in the office.
Currently the all-rounder (actor-director-producer-singer) is working on a directorial venture of Abhinay Deo, which will be produced by Farhan. Then he will be penning dialogues for sister Zoya’s next film and later the sequel of Don.
