Direction Nepal Pvt Ltd is organising Fair & Lovely Education & Career Fete from May 27 to 29 at Birendra Internationl Convention Centre to help students decide on their future for themselves. The fete will draw together the Council for Technical, Educational and Vocational Training (CTEVT), more than 80 educational, language, music, computer and training institutes concerned with vocational and practical education. Technical education is being given special preference to take education beyond strict theoretical principles and focus on their applied fields. Free counselling service will be provided to students in an interactive environment.

Around 35,000 visitors are expected at the fete, which intends to help students in dilemma because of a lack of proper guidance and poor information flow. Inspiring students not only to make a living but to build a career and informing them about the opportunitites, challenges and realities of educational institutes is the main objective of the fete. Besides the scholarship programmes, atrractive gifts and door prizes will be given away. Close-Up Inter College Musical Contest will be held at the venue. The fete which was scheduled to start from May 14 to May 17 was postponed due to political instability and disturbances.
