Fun and mad ads at Ace Day

Kathmandu:

Students of Ace Institute of Management and business executives from various corporate houses in the Capital had a ball at the Ace Day celebrations on January 11.

Held with an intention to provide a common platform to business practitioners and students to “celebrate, compete, and communicate”, a total of three interesting games were organised in the event.

The programme started with a quiz contest ‘Quizophrenia’ in which most questions seem to evade the general knowledge of the participants. However, Himalayan Bank emerged the winner displaying better general knowledge than the rest.

‘Mad Ads’ or absurd advertisements for egregious products like sticky soap, black blossom face cream, and Superman underwear provided its share of entertainment to all. Everest Bank’s black blossom cream earned more appreciation in this, and thus they were victorious.

Dumb charades too interested the audience, which was ultimately won by the host Ace Institute.

To wrap it up, a dance session with DJ Vibe was organised to give the programme a rocking finish.

The event sponsored by a host of leading business houses like Sony, Trisha, Yak and Yeti, Buddha Air and Yamaha.
