KATHMANDU:

People got a chance to enjoy the pleasant and sunny day of March 15 at BICC where the third TEWA Carnival was held. The event was inaugurated by Andrea Arslan.

Young children and old ones equally enjoyed themselves playing games, relishing the delicacies and going on a shopping spree. Various stalls which had kurtas, sarees, handicraft products, bags, household goods, men’s wear, toys and many other stuff were put up. Then it was at the games stalls like Wheel of Fortune, Hit the Can, Lucky Dip, Football where youngsters tried their luck and their skills.

After their shopping and playing games, people headed for the food stalls which had food items prepared from some of the best restaurants in town. And that was not all, it was certainly an eventful day for those present as they got to watch an impressive magic show, got their faces painted wild while most chose to laze around and play Bingo.

Of course no event would be complete without singing and dancing, and it was noted singers like Bharat Sitaula, Mingma Sherpa, Shital and Shivani Moktan who gave the crowd an entertaining afternoon. Besides them Taji Laji Kaala and Hocha Pudka Sangh also gave interesting performances.
