To celebrate Women’s Day, which was celebrated all over the world on March 8, Fair and Lovely in association with The Himalayan Times and Hyatt Regency is organising a women’s carnival ‘Fair and Lovely — Women beyond tomorrow’ on March 14 at Hyatt.

The carnival promises to offer unlimited entertainment via music, games, food, fun, shopping, various on-the-spot contests and other interesting activities. The entrance charge Rs 50 opens the doors for a world of entertainment. Part of the money collected from the carnival will be given to charity.

Fair and Lovely: Beauty tips from reputed beauticians, digital hairstyling, hair counselling, women related games, portfolio making among others.

Magic Touch: Body art and nail art among other beauty-related items.

Direction Nepal: They are organising Education and Career Fair from April 16 onwards. They will be briefing about the fair to enthusiasts and selling books on beauty.

Forum for Women Law and Development: There will be three lawyers — Mira Dhungana, Shrijana Mali and Rup Narayan Shrestha — counselling on women legal rights, marriage laws, etc.

Life Care Hospital: Health counselling.

Manasalu Pashmina and Handicrafts: Pashmina and exclusive ranges of sarees.

Taj Beads: They will be selling beads, bangles and jewellery items at reasonable price.

Begum’s Collection: This boutique will be selling ladies wear such as suit, jewellery, shawls among other items. They will also have cushion covers, bedcovers, bed sheets and pillow covers for sale.

Boskies Designer Studio: This boutique will be selling evening gown materials, T-shirt and pant materials, readymade coats, readymade kurtas, kurta piece for ladies.

Mystique: Ladies suit, saree and salwar.

IEC Pavilion: Designer wear.

Tibtrade Impex: Pashmina and summer garments.

Sahajmarg International: Handicraft products.

Sagtani Exim: They will have IFB range of products — washing machines, dish washers, microwaves and 100 cloth dryer.

Manokamana-117: They will be selling gems like coral, rudraksh, pearl among others.
