WASHINGTON: Jim Carrey has become a grandfather at 47. The actor’s daughter Jane has given birth to her first child, a baby boy, with husband Alex Santana. Her actual due date was March 3, reports People magazine.

The Jane Carrey Band singer had said last year she would love to have a son. She said, “I’m excited about it because I never really got along with girls growing up.I was a little afraid that if it was a girl that she would not like me, you know? So I’m very happy about the boy.”

Meanwhile, Carrey believes her daughter will be a great mum. He said in July, “Jane is going to be a great mom.”
