The evenings have started becoming a bit chilly... a perfect setting for an evening with people whose company you enjoy and some great music.

If your idea of great music is Jazz, blues and fusion, then Classic Encounters is what you’ve might have been missing.

Well, the second edition of Classic Encounters has already begun with 1974 AD having performed at the J-Bar on September 3. The next encounter is scheduled for September 8 at the Absolute Bar, Pulchowk with none other than Anil Shahi and his band.

Classic Encounters is a series of exclusive musical show with Jazz, blues and fusion at various top-end outlets in Kathmandu.

September 9 will see Stupa performing at Jatra, Thamel. The band consists of bassist Nirakar Yakthumba, guitarist and vocalist Yuvraj Chhetri, Sanjay Shrestha drummer, Bimal Gurung on guitar and saxophonist Mariano.
