MUMBAI: Shruti Haasan, the singer-turned-actor who is ready to sizzle on the silver screen in Luck, in which she is debuting opposite Imran Khan, says she is game to shed her clothes onscreen and also has no inhibition in pulling off a sex scene.

“Rule number one for any artist is that you should be ready to do whatever the script you have chosen demands. If me going nude or doing an intensely passionate scene is necessary for the film, I will do it. I have no inhibitions when it comes to taking my clothes off. I am very confident of pulling them off but it should be required,” said Shruti.

Ask her why she chose to debut with a film that’s a multi-starrer rather than hog the limelight like other debutantes, and Shruti says, “I thought this is my real opportunity as I get to prove myself. It’s a film that has also pushed me physically. I have sacrificed eating many things to build my body. I’m not fighting for attention. If I work hard, people will notice my work. I want to be recognised as an actor.”
