Hand-in-hand with fashion
NARAYANGARH: Valentine’s Day in Narayangarh saw the crowning of ‘Mr and Miss Valentine Chitwan, 2006’.
Organised by the Ocean Production and Green Light Creations, it was a fashion show participated by seven boys and seven girls. The show was judged by dance director Basanta Choudhary and beautician Bina Chhetri.
The programme that began at 4 pm kickstarted with the introduction round, followed by a love chain round in which the participants had to act out a short scene — a guy teasing a girl, and all the courting game and proposing with a flower. This was followed by a jacket round with the participants walking down the ramp.
The top 10 were chosen after the catwalking. The question and answer session followed and the winners were declared.
Suman Thapa and Arati Gurung were crowned ‘Mr Valentine and Miss Valentine’ respectively, with Ujjwalraj Gautam and Kishor Adhikari as the first and second runners up (male), while Anusha Pathak and Treshi Aryal were the first and second runners up among the girl.
Laxmi Gurung was judged as having the most beautiful hair, Arati Gurung was Miss Charming and Anusha took away the trophy for best look.
Not only the participants, the audience who had come to watch the show too had a blast. With the lively music, they could not help but tap and clap in sync.
