LONDON: Actress Katherine Heigl has finally kicked her cigarette habit - she's gone without her daily nicotine fix for over a month.

The 'Knocked Up' star, 30, has been desperately trying to leave smoking after realising it was taking over her life, reported hollywood.com.

Heigl has not puffed on a cigarette since quitting in July and her health has already been given a boost. 'She feels so much better,' said a source.
