Higher studies at Newport

The University of Wales, Newport has been involved in higher education for more than 80 years. Today, Newport’s University has four academic Schools — Newport School of Art, Media and Design; Newport Business School; School of Education and Newport School of Health and Social Sciences — on two campuses. Student accommodation, most of it comprising modern, en-suite study-bedrooms, is also located at Caerleon, and there is a free bus service for the short journey between the campuses.

The University offers excellent student accommodation. A purpose built village is situated on the Caerleon Campus, which consists of 661 self-catered single study bedrooms.
