The fashion fanatics of Kathmandu are going to have the most exclusive treat this September. The Sunsilk Fashion Week 2005 is coming to town with the best there could be in fashion and style.

It will be held at Hotel Yak and Yeti from September 9 to September 13 and will be showcasing the latest designs by a total of 76 designers. This is the second fashion week after the last one held in 2004, which too was organised by IEC. “This fashion week is that it will help launch our local designers in the international market,” said Shailaja Adhikary, managing director, IEC. The 76 designers are an influx of established as well as upcoming designers. The upcoming designers will be flaunting the best of their creativity in ready-to-wear designs along with new creative and innovative concepts while the veterans would be presenting their ready-to-wear attires. There would also be a trade show where different kinds of stalls related to fashion would be put up A total of 30 models (20 female and 10 male) would be walking the ramp in these exclusive outfits. The event is going to take Nepali fashion to a different level and would be a spectacular treat not to be missed.
