How for a cause

Kathmandu: GAP events organised a fund raising programme for Hoste Hainse — an NGO whose objective is to educate needy children, to eliminate child labour through education and to sustain educational programmes — on June 4 at Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza. The highlight of the show was Nima Rumba. The programme started late and till Nima took centre stage The Angels band kept the show moving. Nima entertained the crowd with his songs “Priyasi”, “Cat walk”, “Aau Aau Na” and “Sajha Ma Pani” among other melodious tracks.

French choreographer Willy Turney also performed, while DJ Aashish and Ajit entertained. This was the first time Hoste Hainse had such an event publicly. Sulo Shrestha Shah, managing director, Hoste Hainse informs, “At present we are supporting 1000 children and with the sum collected from this event we will be able to support 100 more children. The main motive to have this event was to create public awareness about the NGO and raise funds for a noble cause.” — HNS
