If you go on a bike from Kathmandu (New Road) it will take you around one-and-a-half-hours. Take the route from Thimi as the roads are good. If you choose to go from Bhaktapur, it will take a little longer. If you plan to use the public transport, hop on a bus from Bus Park that will take you to Bhaktapur. Then take a bus that goes to Changu from the bus stop at Bhaktapur. It goes right up to the temple.
