It's too soon: JLaw on Hunger Games' prequels
LOS ANGELES: Lionsgate may be thinking about the prequels of Hunger Games series, but Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence feels it’s too early for the studio to discuss or say anything about it right now.
The 25-year-old actress, who played Katniss Everdeen in the film, said she will not be a part of the proposed prequels, reported Variety. “I wouldn’t be involved. I think it’s too soon. They’ve got to let the body get cold, in my opinion,” Lawrence said.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 was supposed to be the end of the franchise, but Lionsgate vice chairman Michael Burns said the studio is trying to come up with new plot lines and spin off opportunities.
