Jackie to star in Priyadarshan’s next

Mumbai: Jackie Shroff is a busy man these days. After Priyadarshan’s ‘Hulchul’, Jackie will soon be seen in another Priyadarshan-directed movie, ‘Kyonki’, in which he plays a mental asylum doctor. “It is a very well-etched character with a strong undercurrent of emotion. This is my fourth film with Priyan,” said the actor, popularly known as Jaggu dada, reports Bollywood Trade. Jackie is also looking forward to the release of ‘Tum Ho Na’. Directed by Raj Bharat, the movie has Shroff playing the role of a soldier scarred by memories of his tenure with the army during a war, and decides to start life afresh. The movie premieres on Sahara channel, reports Bollywood Trade. And with the forthcoming ‘Bhoot’, it’s Jackie’s turn to play ghost. ‘Bhoot’ will mark the production debut of actor Sumeet Saigal (remember seeing him with Rupa Ganguli in the then popular song “Kali teri choti hai?”). Then there’s another project — Tanuja Chandra’s ‘Runway’ — to keep Jackie busy. — HNS
