Jayanti award for deserving girls

KATHMANDU:

Princess Jayanti Achievement Award was held at Hotel de l’Annapurna on August 4. This event was established by Hotel de l’Annapurna in memory of late Princess Jayanti and is held annually. This award is given to the best female students for the Bachelors level of the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM). The award is given in order to encourage girls for their dedication, their effort to stand out.

Kumar Gorakh SJB Rana, chief guest of the programme, gave away the prizes to Sakila Dhakal, who scored the highest marks in the first year, Lhakpa Yangjee Sherpa in the second year, and Sunira Dahal in the third year. Dhakal and Sherpa were each given cash prize of Rs 30,000, while Dahal was given a gold medal for her excellent performance.

The other guests present at the function were Joint-Secretary of Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Dinesh Hari Adhikari, Executive Director of NATHM Ram Prasad Ghimire, and Jagmag Basnyat, General Manager of Hotel de l’Annapurna.
