Kate Moss slammed over 'skinny' comments

LONDON: Kate Moss has been accused of encouraging teenagers to become anorexic.

The 35-year-old model has shocked campaigners for her comments on the fashion news website WWD.

When asked in an interview if she had any mottos, she replied: "There are loads of mottos. There's 'Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels'. That's one of them."

She added: "You try and remember, but it never works."

The comments have infuriated campaigners who say she should be setting an example to millions of girls and young women who see her as a role model.

Kate Moss has featured on the front of hundreds of magazines and is known for her waifish figure and is rarely out of the newspapers.

She has also modelled clothes for Topshop which has helped boost the store's popularity.
