Khan up for comedy

MUMBAI:

Arbaaz Khan is working on his image makeover and signing films which allow him to show the comic side of his personality. “Though I’m perceived as this serious kind of guy, I’m actually very funny. I hope my friends would vouch for that,” said Khan. In Apoorva Lakhia’s just released “Shootout At Lokhandwala”, Khan plays a cop who provides many light moments. And the same goes for Feroz Naidiadwala’s “Fool N Final” where he plays a funny gangster. “The next film I’m doing is, David Dhawan’s remake of ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, I’m again cast as the serious cop Amar, the role that Vinod Khanna did in the original.” “I guess Salman and Sohail will have all those funny lines as Anthony and Akbar. But in my forthcoming films I’m seriously looking at being funny. And I’ve made sure I had some laughs watching myself in my next few films.”
