Kylie Minogue helps out at restaurant

LONDON: Kylie Minogue was so keen to impress her future in-laws she is helping them hire staff for their Spanish seaside restaurant.

Kylie Minogue is helping her future father-in-law hire staff for his restaurant.

The 'In My Arms' singer - who reportedly got engaged to Spanish boyfriend Andres Velencoso in May - is keen to impress her beau's family so offered her services when their seaside wine bar in the Costa Brava's Tossa de Mar was left under-staffed.

However, Andres' father Hernandez is worried Kylie's star status is distracting from the task of finding new employees.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Andres' dad has been having great difficulty finding staff. Kylie is keen to get in with the in-laws so she volunteered to narrow down applicants.

"But it's a family business and there are concerns she's stepping on a few toes.

"On top of this, her interview technique is not exactly thorough and a lot of applicants are simply coming to stare at their idol."

Kylie, 41, recently confirmed she is blissfully happy with Andres.

She said: "I feel relaxed, happy, excited and just totally content with my life. I'm having a good time.

"I'm just doing things I never would give myself time to do. I'm finding my balance and I'm giving myself space just to be me.

"I feel good about everything in my life at the moment. I'm a very, very happy girl."
