Lajawab at Himalaya

The aroma of various spices wafts in the air of Café Horizon, Hotel Himalaya. And you will be satisfied to know that the café promises to satisfy all the senses through its mouth watering food and delightful ambience. Hotel Himalaya is introducing its Indian cuisine festival ‘Lajawab’, every Friday from July 20 onwards.

The well-lit café with soothing melody played by a musical troop on sitar, tabla, flute and Hawaiian guitar helps create the perfect mood for the evening. The menu will change every week, and will be revised each month. Consisting of exotic food, the menu covers a three-course meal.

For starters one can try various chaats like Aloo Papdi Chaat, Chaman ki Chaat or even Dahi Bhalla. The soup counter has item for both non-vegetarians and vegetarians. What can be better as starters than kebab itself. If you like chicken items, then you will love Chicken Galauti Kebab or take a bite of Sikandari Raan, and the veggies can try the Sikampuri Kebab.

As for the main course, a large buffet is set ready from which you can choose anything you like. Don’t forget to try chef recommended Murgh begam Bahar, the tenderly cooked chicken in cashewnut gravy and cream, and the popular Akhbari Biryani. Another not-to-miss-dish is the Subz Hariyali Kofta, made from fresh vegetable prepared in white gravy.

End your dinner with the Indian deserts like Kulfi, Rasgulla, Rabri and Suzi ka Halwa. Dinner is from 7:00-10:00 pm and priced Rs 499 per person (taxes extra).
