Lily Cole Dropped By Rimmel?

LONDON: Model Lily Cole may not appear in the next Rimmel campaign as the cosmetic firm want more international stars to front their campaigns.

Lily Cole may not appear in the next Rimmel campaign.

The model - who is currently studying at Cambridge University in the UK - is one of the cosmetic firm's faces but her time could be up as the company want more international stars to front their advertisements.

A source said: "Lily is unlikely to have her contract renewal. Rimmel want to appeal to US audiences and are planning to launch their new faces soon."

It was previously revealed Solange Knowles and US actress Zooey Deschanel are to appear in the ads while models Georgia May Jagger and Coca Rocha have already signed up for the campaign.

However, the news may not come as a huge blow for Lily as she recently revealed she is fed up of modelling.

The 21-year-old beauty wants to veer away from the fashion and beauty industry and instead plans to spend the rest of her working days focusing on her acting career.

She said: "I'd like to act and not really model so much. I wouldn't want to treat acting as a convenient thing to do now and again. I've been doing modelling for years and I feel like I've taken out of it what I need to and I'm ready for new things."
