NEW YORK: JLo seems to be losing the one asset that catapulted her to instant fame, her curvaceous derriere.

As the 41-year-old singer-actress took to the stage in a skin-tight diamante-studded catsuit for a New Year performance, her once ample bottom appeared to have shrunk, reported Daily Mail online.

The `Waiting For Tonight` hitmaker looked toned in the shimmering catsuit, which became transparent under the stage lights.

The mother-of-two was performing at Times Square in New York to celebrate the start of 2010.

Despite miserable weather, more than 750,000 revellers braved the cold and rain to watch J-Lo sing.

"You didn`t think I could do that in the rain did you?" she said after her energetic routine. Her audience cheered as she writhed on the stage before high-kicking along to Frank Sinatra`s classic `New York, New York`.

Lopez who is married to Latin singer Marc Anthony grew up in the Bronx but admitted she had never been to Times Square to celebrate New Year`s Eve.

"This is my first time ever coming down here. It`s just so much good, hopeful, amazing, loving energy. I feel like a little girl!," she said.
