NEW YORK: Madonna's manager has shot down reports the Material Girl is making plans to tour the world again.

The pop superstar was rumoured to be planning a new global trek as early as July (10), with a set of stops scheduled in Australia, where she hasn't performed since 1993.

Her manager Guy Oseary has since taken to his page on Twitter.com to refute the reports.

He writes, "There is no truth to any current plans for an upcoming tour."

The singer concluded her Sticky & Sweet Tour, her eighth global concert trek, with a gig in Tel Aviv, Israel in September (09).
