Smritishesh — Melodious songs is a CD compilation of 11 songs with Chudamani Devkota as the lyricist. The music has been composed by Narayan Oli. The singers that have sung for the album are popular and well known in the Nepali music world like Nabaraj Lamsal, Uday Sotang, Karna Das, Sapna Shree, Ruby Joshi, Deepak Kharel, Lasimit Rai and Jagdish Samal. With such talented stars, the album should be worth the money.

Another lok-dohori music album (cassette) to hit the market is Mann ko doctor. The number has been sung by Binod Raj Dhungel and Sindhu Malla, while the lyrics have been compiled by Subash Chandra and Biswanath Dhungel, and music by Bhojraj Kafle. The other number Jhulkyo gham Nagarkot dandaima has been sung by Sambar Lama and Sindhu Malla, and the lyrics/music has been compiled by Lama himself.
