Cambodians will be exposed to their first-ever live Western rock concert next month when Danish outfit Mich-ael Learns to Rock performs for a nationwide tel-evision broadcast, organisers said on September 29. “It’s a huge event for Cambodia,” general manager Glen Felgate, from local organiser and promoter Cambodian Television Network (CTN), said in a statement. Michael Learns to Rock will perform to an audience of 700 people at the CTN studio in Phnom Penh on October 19. The performance will be aired live. Felgate said that audience members would be selected by a competition and would see the band for free. The rockers are due to meet Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen during a four-day visit here.
