More arrests made in Lohan burglary

NEW YORK: More arrests have reportedly been made in connection with the burglaries of Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge's Los Angeles homes.

At least four women were arrested by police officials on Thursday (22Oct09), according to a U.S. report.

The Mean Girls actress' house was broken into in August (09), while The Hills star Patridge's property was targeted in a similar crime in February (09).

Nicholas Prugo, 18, was arrested in September (09) on suspicion of burglary in connection to Lohan's break-in and is alleged to be behind Patridge's burglary. Police filed felony charges against Prugo earlier this month (Oct09). He is free on $20,000 (£13,300) bail and is due in court to face charges on 11 November (09).

One of the women who was taken in on Thursday, 19-year-old Rachel J. Lee, is also under investigation for the $2 million (£1.3 million) jewellery heist at Paris Hilton's property in 2008. She is also suspected to be the ringleader in the burglaries of Lohan and Patridge's homes, according to People.com.

A spokesperson from the Los Angeles Police Department had not confirmed the arrests as WENN went to press.
