Music for peace

KATHMANDU: If you’ve never danced on the streets before, then he-re’s your chance. Come November 18 and the Thamel streets will be filled with party poopers who will all be jiving for peace. And what better way to celebrate peace than with Tuborg Project Peace 2006 — Fourth Annual Thamel Street Dance Music Festival?

The project is back with better DJs, better music, better sound systems and a better and stronger hope for peace.

Almost all of the best DJs from Nepal will be featured in the project and they will be joined by some of the world’s most renowned DJs.

To make it louder and clearer, three music zones have been allocated — the first zone at Tridevi Marg, second at Narshima chowk, and third at Thamel night ba-zaar. These zones will be your centres to enjoy R&B, hip-hop, funk, ambient music, Asian massive music, and other ad-renaline driving genres.

The music will be accompanied by other attractions like food and shopping stalls.

Apart from Tuborg, the event is being organised by Funky Buddha Bar and Café and Party epal.com, and supported by Jolly-Fuel for the Living, in association with Thamel Tourism evelopment Council.

So be there at Thamel on November 18 and remember the project begins at 2:00 pm.
