Love is an emotion which hits all and sundry at some time or the other. It is also something that nobody can define precisely. However, we all understand that to love and be loved is the most wonderful feeling one can experience in life.

Love did interest me, but to be honest I could never think of a serious relationship with anyone...

But he stepped into in my life one chilly November day and brought the warmth of love, and unknowingly crept into my heart. He wasn’t the archetypal tall, dark and handsome man and nor was I some fem-me fatale. Perhaps beca-use we were two ordinary imperfect people sharing our dreams and hopes, we loved each other. Our love was not superficial. We did not make fake promises.

The memories are fresh even today and I feel his presence — sometimes laughing at my dull jokes, yelling at me when I make some stupid mistakes while encouraging and guiding me on the right path. Like everybody else, we had our share of ups and downs, which made our relationship even stronger. Maybe that’s why even if we end up with other people we will never forget the time we shared together.

What makes it more special is the fact that though we are miles apart today, we have no regrets about each other. We are just happy to know that the other one is happy.
