Nepathya to perform one year after Nepal earthquake

KATHMANDU: Popular Nepali folk rock band Nepathya is all set perform in Jawalakhel on Friday.

Organised one after the devastating earthquakes in April and May 2015, the theme of the live concert is Pheri Uthne Chha Nepal (Nepal will rise again). The concert aims at collecting funds and support the deprived and vulnerable populations.

"In continuation of last year’s ‘Coca-Cola Pheri Uthne Chha Nepal’ campaign, this musical show will provide a joyful and jubilant atmosphere for the people who faced severe crises over the past one year," a statement said.

"The positivity and resilience shown by the Nepali citizens inspired Coca-Cola to initiate the campaign, which was officially launched along with its mnemonic, anthem and music video to encourage people to come forward in rebuilding the nation."

Bandwagon by Positive Vibes, an event management company, has organised and managed the event in collaboration with Child Protection Nepal, Work ForA Cause Nepal, Sano Paila, WILL, Aishworya Children Home and Raise of Hope Nepal.
