Nepathya to perform for quake-hit Nepalis

KATHMANDU: It has been a year since the powerful earthquake shook the lives of Nepalis, and many people are still deprived, and in vulnerable condition. And the folk-rock band Nepathya is ready “to heal and support the deprived and vulnerable populations” through ‘Coca-Cola Nepathya Live in Concert’.

The band will enthral the music lovers with its live performance at Jawalakhel Ground on May 14, mentions a press release issued by the Bottlers Nepal Limited.

Organised and managed by Bandwagon by Positive Vibes, the concert is the outcome of the collective participation and synergic efforts of the like-minded and concerned NGOs — Child Protection Nepal, Work For A Cause Nepal, Sano Paila, WILL, Aishworya Children Home and Raise of Hope Nepal, the press release further mentions.

Nepathya Live in Concert is the continuation of 2015’s ‘Coca-Cola Pheri Uthne Chha Nepal’ campaign that was launched in August 2015 to encourage people to come forward in rebuilding the nation.

“With great pleasure, we are once again connecting with the people of Nepal through the magic of music, to commend their determination in moving forward from the hardships faced in the last one year,” the press statement quotes Anand Ratnaparkhi, Country Channel and Marketing Manager of Bottlers Nepal Limited as saying.

The concert’s prime objective is to generate funds that will be used for the betterment of society, as per the press release.
