Halle Berry is disappointed because winning her best actress Oscar for her role in Monster’s Ball failed to have the impact on her life she hoped for. According to contactmusic.com, Berry assumed the award would automatically lead to a slew of high profile parts. She says: “You get lots of flowers and kudos, but when the haze wore off I realised I was still the same actress I always was. I am not sure anything really comes out of it other than pressure. I still have that underdog feeling.”
