Paris charges dropped
Paris charges dropped:
Los Angeles: Theft charges against socialite Paris Hilton have been dropped after the district attorney’s office here decided not to prosecute the hotel heiress for stealing one of her own sex tapes. Authorities had planned to prosecute Hilton after the ‘Simple Life’ star was spotted stealing a DVD of ‘One Night In Paris’, said reports.
No charges will be brought against Hilton, who also allegedly ripped down a poster promoting the sex tape, which features her. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office recommended that Hilton be charged with petty vandalism and misdemeanour. — HNS
‘Elektra’ Garner may call it quits:
Los Angeles: Jennifer Garner, ‘Elektra’ star and Hollywood heartthrob Ben Affleck’s current girlfriend, wants to quit acting to pursue other career prospects. Garner, 32, hinted she will not stay in films for much longer because she wants to expand her horizons by pursuing higher studies, said reports. “I want a graduate degree, I want to be a businesswoman, an investment banker, a writer, a pianist. I really wish I could cook. I’ve never had specific goals in life. I just think things to myself and they actually start to happen,” Garner was quoted as saying. — HNS
