Paris keen to sing for late papa

LONDON: Paris Jackson, who paid an emotional tribute to her father and pop legend Michael Jackson at his memorial service on July 7, is keen to sing a track for him after being inspired by the artistes who performed at the star-studded service at Los Angeles’ Staples Center.

The 11-year-old girl has discussed her plans with her aunts, uncles and grandparents but they are keen to protect her privacy, reported femalefirst.co.uk.

“The Jacksons are very reluctant. But she is convinced it’s a good idea,” said a source.

Meanwhile, French fashion tycoon Christian Audigier is set to buy Jackson’s Neverland ranch.

The US-based designer, known for his Von Dutch and Ed Hardy collections, plans to create a Jacko-themed complex similar to Elvis Presley’s Graceland and allow online tours, reported mirror.co.uk.

“I have decided to buy that house,” said Audigier.

Colony Capital bought the California ranch in 2008 for $32 million and is keen to sell. Neverland is now worth an estimated £60 million.
