Partying the football way

KATHMANDU: Football fans might have to wait for Nepal to actually kick off at the World Cup, but that doesn’t in the least deter them from celebrating this greatest festival of soccer with style and enthusiasm.

With our own football stars, presiding as guests of honour amidst spectacular highlights of the FIFA World Cup, party freaks have decided to have a sockeroo of a night at Megha Malhar, Soaltee Crowne Plaza on July 7.

The soccer nite will also feature DJ Vickey, who is the resident DJ of RPM in Delhi, to rev up the night of revelry. DJ Vickey started his career in 1999 and has come a long way specialising in club mixing and remixing. His Dhol rapture rocked the Indian nation, and he’s won remarkable accolades including the number one position for Director’s special and Times India DJ Championships 2005.

“I have been working at RPM for the last five years which proves my loyalty and honesty towards my work. I recently did a gig in Dubai in a club called The Mixx, which was a huge success. I hope the Nepali crowds will like my music,” says this DJ.

The Soccer Nite is managed by Euphoria and sponsored by Mc Dowell’s Signature and supported by Carlsberg.

So be at the Soaltee from 7:00 pm onwards and party the football way. (Tickets Rs 499)
