World’s smallest teenager: Nepal’s Khagendra puts in his bid :
A teenager is waiting to find out if he’s the smallest man in the world. Fourteen-year-old Khagendra Thapa Magar is only 50cm high, and weighs just 4.5kg, which could be record-breaking. He’s apparently the smallest person in Nepal, and he’s written to Guinness World Records to see if he can claim the world title. A Guinness spokeswoman said they would decide after looking at all the medical evidence, and were considering flying him to England to be measured. The current record holder for world’s smallest living man is 65cm high Younis Edwan, who lives in Jordan. The shortest man ever on record was Gul Mohammed, who clocked in at just 57cm — seven cm bigger than Khagendra. —
