PICK OF THE WEEK: A doll after Croc Hunter’s daughter Bindi

The daughter of crocodile hunter Steve Irwin has got her own doll. Nine-year-old Bindi became famous following her father’s death in a stingray accident in 2006. She hosts her own TV show called Bindi — The Jungle Girl. That’s also the name of her doll, which comes with a message urging people to protect wildlife. Some of the money from sales of the doll will go towards the family’s work to take care of animals. The toy was launched at a store in America. Bindi often appears on TV in Australia and America as a presenter and chat show guest. She’s also got a range of children’s clothing.
