An American man has made an unusual flight using his garden chair and party balloons. Kent Couch flew the chair tied to helium-filled balloons more than 322 km across the Oregon desert, landing in a field in Idaho. He covered about the journey in about nine hours after lifting off at dawn, with the help of more than 150 giant party balloons. Crouch landed by shooting balloons a few at a time. This was his third trip on the strange flying machine and the furthest he managed to get.
