What will happen if you go beyond mere recitation of poetry to actually performing it? Well, it definitely added more energy in case of the performance Nahareko Manche based on poems of Viplob Pratik staged by the young artistes’ group Shilpi at Bakery Café, Khichapokhari on

October 14.

The artistes enacted a role and recited their part of the poems, which basically tried to present humanity stuck in suffering yet full of optimism and wanting to celebrate life. According to Yubaraj Ghimire, the director, the most difficult part was to perform the poems,

and yet not make it look like a drama.

Regarding the theme of the performance, Ghimire added, “Suffering only shows the beautiful aspect of life. People are sad when they suffer, but to feel pain itself can be good.”

While appreciating the efforts of the youngsters on their attempt, Pratik suggested that they perform more and more to gain more sharpness in their performance.
