I was sitting idly

I saw my violin lying

silently

I got into the mood to play

My face smiled with joy.

Tis fantastic to play

the violin

The music it produces

is very soft

But to play it is really tough.

Bow, strings, fingerboard and bridge

Are some important parts

Playing it is a beautiful art.

My violin is brown

in colour

It can’t be bought in

one dollar

I play it with great pleasure

It is one of my biggest

treasures.
