Queenly honours for Patricia

NEW ORLEANS:

Actress Patricia Clarkson, back in her native Louisiana to play a governor’s adviser in ‘All the King’s Men’, found herself being celebrated like royalty when the New Orleans mayor designated a day in her honour. Mayor Ray Nagging, a former schoolmate of Clarkson at the city’s O Perry Walker High School, proclaimed January 13 as Patricia Clarkson Day. He held aloft the written proclamation, which also referred to the 45-year-old actress as “the Queen of Hollywood South.” — AP
